The region of Kashmir is a beautiful part of the world, boasting stunning scenery and a rich cultural history. However, as of recent years, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are having to deal with a worsening humanitarian crisis which is leaving them struggling to cope with the ongoing conflict and lack of the most basic supplies.

Men, women, children and families across the region are being affected by this continuing crisis; prompting the founding of our Jammu and Kashmir emergency appeal to provide essential aid to these vulnerable people. The state of emergency has created a situation where supplies have been cut off and a curfew imposed due to the ongoing conflict in the area. Thousands of people are now struggling to get access to basic supplies, including food, as supply routes are cut off and goods restrictions set up.
