Take a Leap of Faith this April

The majority of our work here at Islamic Help focuses on regions outside the United Kingdom; places where relief aid is greatly needed. We go where our work takes us.

In Africa, Islamic Help is actively striving to combat hunger and famine. In the Middle East, you will find us tackling the Syria crisis, working with millions of refugees. In South-East Asia, Islamic Help can be found assisting flood victims.

However, we also pay close attention to conducting local events, for the public and different communities; we even arrange some for our staff.

Hosting or sponsoring events is a great way to reach out to people and this April, islamichelp.org is organizing something that will have you jumping in the air… literally!

Brace yourselves for the experience of a lifetime!

Islamic Help is taking people high up in the air to offer a unique skydiving experience. We encourage everyone to get involved in this super exciting event. How many people can say they have skydived for charity? We’d bet there aren’t many.

This is a thrilling opportunity to take part in, and something that very few people have experienced before. Take the leap of faith with Islamic Help!

Here’s how it works.

Individuals who would like to register their interest can call Islamic Help directly on 0121 446 5682 or contact us through our website. The adventure will take place high over the skies of Suffolk on 5th April 2015, and being a Bank Holiday weekend you will have plenty of time to prepare yourself.

On the day, you will board a plane that will take you to an exhilarating altitude of 13,000 feet. This is the height at which you will dive into the open sky at speeds of 120 mph. It’s going to be a massive adrenaline rush.

All of us here at Islamic Help are extremely excited about this event, and we’re sure you are too.

Of course, you won’t fly alone. A parachute will be strapped to you, along with a qualified instructor, ensuring you get to enjoy the scenic view while your instructor watches over you. There will also be female instructors available for sisters wishing to take part.

The whole idea of this event is to bring people together and create awareness. We are focusing a great deal on the African continent this year. Incidentally, this is also where Islamic Help established the world’s very first environment-friendly Eco Village.

The African continent is plagued with hunger and poverty, and we have been actively pursuing projects to try and tackle this issue. We have set-up a number of projects, such as introducing development programmes for women and incorporating eco-friendly agriculture. However, a lot is yet to be done.

We urge everyone to get involved in this skydiving event. We want to bring people together, but we also want them to have fun in the process.

This is your opportunity to jump out of a plane and travel at speeds of 120mph for a good cause. So be sure to visit our website for more details. Sign up today and book your spot.
