Morocco Earthquake Devastation
More than 2,000 people have been killed after a devastating earthquake hit Morocco - the worst in over 100 years. Buildings have been reduced to rubble with countless people rendered homeless overnight. We’re carefully evaluating on-the-ground needs to ensure that funds for the Morocco earthquake emergency fund are deployed as effectively as possible to aid those affected.
Struggle for Survival
Powerful tremors continue to shake buildings in Morocco, with buildings which are close to collapse being hurriedly evacuated. As rescuers dig through rubble and attempt to reach remote villages, the death toll is expected to increase, with the number of people injured and homeless already climbing quickly.
